SMYRNA, TN — EOSYS Group, Inc., a trailblazing company that began its journey in 1991, is marking the end of an era. Founding President and CEO, Ken Coggins, after more than three decades of exemplary leadership, has announced his retirement. However, while he may be stepping back from his CEO role, Ken’s connection to EOSYS remains strong as he will remain on the Board of Directors.
Ken’s legacy at EOSYS is undeniable. “In 1991, the founders of EOSYS and I took a chance, betting on ourselves,” Ken reminisced. Today, EOSYS isn’t just a company; it’s a testament to the American Dream and the relentless dedication of its team. The pillars Ken laid down—tenacity, a focus on customer satisfaction, and unwavering dedication to improvement—are what made EOSYS the beacon of excellence it is today.
Reflecting on his tenure, Ken extended his gratitude to the EOSYS family. “It has been an absolute honor and privilege to work alongside an incredible group of individuals,” he stated in his farewell note. Beyond just business accomplishments, Ken’s leadership was marked by an unwavering focus on employee well-being and ensuring EOSYS was not just a workplace, but a community.
David Lax, the current President of EOSYS, shared heartfelt sentiments about Ken’s transition. “Ken’s vision went beyond business metrics. It was about building a legacy, nurturing a community of employee-owners, and ensuring that EOSYS remained a pillar of integrity and excellence.” While EOSYS team members knew of Ken’s impending retirement from last year’s town hall meetings, the news is met with a blend of gratitude for Ken’s contributions and optimism for the company’s future.
Though his title has changed, Ken’s commitment to EOSYS’s vision remains unaltered. As a member of the Board, he looks forward to championing the cause of the very individuals that make EOSYS extraordinary.
As EOSYS bids adieu to Ken as its CEO and eagerly welcomes him into the Board of Directors, one thing remains constant—the unwavering EOSYS spirit that Ken has fostered over the years. His message to the team, “Together, we shape the future,” resonates as EOSYS looks ahead to its next chapter.
